Wedding Information

The wedding was held on Saturday, June 2, 2001. The ceremonies commenced at 3:30 PM local time. The following is the timeline of events as they unfolded that day.

Dressing of the Bride

The dressing of the Bride and the Bridesmaids commenced mid-morning on Saturday. This included the Junior Bridesmaids and Flower Girls. See the Bridal Party.

Handing of the Bouquets

The Best Man, Dilip Bala, left for the Bride’s home. Once there, he handed the bouquets to the Bride and the Bridal Party.

Wedding Ceremony

After handing the bouquets, the Best Man met the Groom, and the Groom’s party proceeded to the church, followed by the Bridal Party. The church ceremony was held at the Baptist Church, Great North Road, Henderson, Auckland at 3:30 PM. The ceremony was led by Pastor David Wallace, with the reading of the Bible carried out by the Groom’s uncle, Theo Joseph. This was followed by the exchange of vows and the signing of the marriage certificate.

Reception

The reception was held at the Sheraton Auckland Hotel, Arawa Ballroom, located on Symonds Street, Auckland, beginning at 6:00 PM.
